of <h1>Designation Change: 'Commissioner of Customs (Air Cargo)' to 'Commissioner of Customs (Import and General)' per Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The notification amends the previous notification No. 27/2000-CUSTOMS (N.T) dated April 27, 2000, issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue. The amendment, effective from February 16, 2004, changes the designation of the authority from 'Commissioner of Customs (Air Cargo), New Delhi' to 'Commissioner of Customs (Import and General), New Customs House, New Delhi.' This amendment is made under the powers conferred by the Customs Act, 1962.
