of <h1>Preschool and Certified Courses Exempted from Service Tax Under Section 93, Finance Act 1994, Later Rescinded in 2012</h1> The Central Government issued Notification No. 33/2011 on April 25, 2011, exempting preschool coaching and training, as well as courses leading to recognized certificates, diplomas, or degrees, from service tax when provided by commercial coaching or training centers. This exemption was made under section 93 of the Finance Act, 1994, in the public interest. The notification took effect on May 1, 2011. However, it was later rescinded by Notification No. 34/2012 on June 20, 2012.
