<h1>Government Sets New Currency Exchange Rates for Imports Under Customs Act 1962, Effective February 1, 2004</h1> Notification No. 10/2004 - Customs (N.T.), dated January 27, 2004, issued by the Government of India, establishes the exchange rates for various foreign currencies effective from February 1, 2004, for imported goods under the Customs Act, 1962. This notification supersedes the previous notification No. 114/2003-NT-Customs. The exchange rates listed include the Australian Dollar at 35.45 INR, Canadian Dollar at 35.15 INR, Euro at 58.00 INR, Pound Sterling at 84.05 INR, US Dollar at 45.55 INR, and Japanese Yen at 42.95 INR, among others.
