of <h1>Government Expands IT Special Economic Zone in Gurgaon by 3.2829 Hectares Under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services in Gurgaon, Haryana, proposed by a private company under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. Initially approved on June 26, 2006, over an area of 30.35 hectares, the SEZ was officially notified on April 17, 2007, covering 23.429 hectares. The government has now expanded the SEZ by an additional 3.2829 hectares in Village Ghamroj, Tehsil Sohna, Gurgaon, as detailed in a table listing specific plots and their respective areas.
