of <h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds Under Customs Act, 1962; No Change for Palm, Soybean Oil</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 97/2010 amending the tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised tariff values are specified for brass scrap and poppy seeds, with brass scrap set at $4241 per metric tonne and poppy seeds at $3061 per metric tonne. The notification maintains the existing tariff values for various grades of palm oil and soybean oil. This adjustment is part of the ongoing updates to the principal notification initially published in August 2001 and last amended in October 2010.
