of <h1>Central Government De-notifies 10 Hectares from Jodhpur Handicraft SEZ, Effective June 30, 2009, Under SEZ Act 2005.</h1> The Central Government has de-notified 10 hectares of land from a previously designated Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for the handicraft sector located at Village Kaparda, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. This decision follows a proposal by a corporation under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. Initially, a total of 130.689 hectares was notified as an SEZ in December 2007. The de-notification, effective from June 30, 2009, pertains specifically to land at Khasra number 10/2 in the area. The process was conducted in accordance with the relevant provisions of the SEZ Act and Rules.
