These bonds are valued at Rs. 1,000 each for public issues and Rs. 1,00,000 each for other cases, totaling Rs. 3,080 crore. The bonds carry an interest rate between 6% and 7.25% per annum, varying by tranche size and tenor. The tax benefits apply only if bondholders register their names and holdings with IRFC.
