of <h1>Additional Commissioner of Customs in Ahmedabad Appointed as Common Adjudicating Authority for Mumbai Customs Cases.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued a notification appointing the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Imports) at the Air Cargo Complex in Ahmedabad as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This appointment allows the official to exercise powers and duties of the Additional Commissioners of Customs at both the Air Cargo Complex in Sahar, Mumbai, and the New Customs House in Mumbai. This is specifically for adjudicating matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a certain agency and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Mumbai, dated May 23, 2007.
