of <h1>Central Govt amends Notification S.O. 1916(E) to remove Chandigarh SEZ listing under Section 4, SEZ Act 2005.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification S.O. 1916(E) dated 12th November 2007, concerning the appointment of the Development Commissioner for the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) associated with the Software Technology Parks of India in New Delhi. Under the authority of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and in accordance with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the amendment involves the removal of the entry listed at Sl. No. 2, which pertains to the Chandigarh Administration and its Electronics Hardware and Information Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services.
