of <h1>Government Reduces SEZ by 22.82 Hectares in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh; Initial Notification in 2006 Now Amended</h1> The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has de-notified 22.82 hectares from a previously established Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for footwear at Village Mambattu, Mandal Tada, District Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Initially notified on August 8, 2006, the SEZ was proposed by a private organization under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. After considering the proposal by the organization, the Central Government approved the reduction on June 21, 2010. The de-notified area includes survey numbers 191 and 198, reducing the SEZ's total area to 104.08 hectares.
