of <h1>India Updates Customs Tariff Values for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds in Notification No. 76/2010-Customs (N.T.)</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 76/2010-Customs (N.T.) amending Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) dated 3rd August 2001. This amendment, effective from 13th August 2010, updates the tariff values for various commodities including Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, Crude Soyabean Oil, Brass Scrap, and Poppy seeds. The tariff values for palm oil and soyabean oil remain unchanged, while the tariff for brass scrap is set at US $3818 per metric tonne and poppy seeds at US $2750 per metric tonne.
