of <h1>India Appoints Kandla Customs Commissioner as Common Adjudicating Authority for DRI Show Cause Notice</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 70/2010-Customs (N.T.) on August 12, 2010. This notification appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Kandla, as the Common Adjudicating Authority to exercise the powers and duties of the Commissioners of Customs (Import and Export) at New Customs House, Mumbai. This appointment is specifically for adjudicating matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a company and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit, on May 25, 2010.
