of <h1>Finance Ministry Updates Service Tax Jurisdiction in Mumbai and Raigad: Notification No. 46/2010 Amends Previous Rules.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 46/2010-Service Tax, amending Notification No. 19/2007-Service Tax dated May 12, 2007. The amendment modifies the jurisdictional entries for Sl. No. 35 in the original notification. For the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Service Tax-II, Mumbai, the relevant authorities are now the Commissioner of Service Tax-II and Commissioner of Service Tax-I, Mumbai. For the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Central Excise, Raigad, the authorities are the Commissioner of Central Excise, Raigad, and the Commissioner of Service Tax-II, Mumbai. The principal notification has been amended several times since its initial publication.
