Customs amendment removes a tariff-table entry, altering the exemption notification and its operative scope effective immediately. The Central Government, under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, amends Notification No. 21/2002 Customs by omitting S.No.444 and the entries relating thereto from the Table of the principal exemption notification via Notification No. 32/2004, thereby withdrawing the exemption previously granted by those entries.
