<h1>Commissioner of Customs at Nava Sheva Appointed as Common Adjudicating Authority for Mumbai and Kolkata Cases.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 64/2010-Customs (N.T.) on July 7, 2010. This notification appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Nava Sheva as the Common Adjudicating Authority. The appointed authority will exercise the powers and duties of the Commissioners of Customs (Import) at New Customs House, Mumbai, and the Commissioner of Customs (Port) at Kolkata. This appointment is for adjudicating matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit, concerning specific individuals and entities.
