India Appoints Amritsar Customs Commissioner as Common Adjudicating Authority for T.L. Verma & Co. Case
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 62/2010-Customs (N.T.) appointing the Commissioner of Customs, Amritsar, as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This appointment empowers the Commissioner to perform the duties of the Assistant or Deputy Commissioner of Customs at ICD Tughlakabad, New Delhi, and Nava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra. The role involves adjudicating matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to M/s. T.L. Verma & Company (P) Ltd. and others, as per the directive from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, New Delhi.
