of <h1>Commissioner of Customs in Ahmedabad Appointed as Common Adjudicating Authority for Sai Infosystem Case Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 61/2010-Customs (N.T.) appointing the Commissioner of Customs at Customs House, Ahmedabad, as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This appointment is under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962, to oversee and adjudicate matters related to a Show Cause Notice involving M/s. Sai Infosystem (India) Ltd., among others. This notice was originally issued by the Additional Director General of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad, on March 19, 2010.
