This appointment empowers the Commissioner to exercise the powers and duties of various customs officials at Nava Sheva and the Inland Container Depot in Tughlakabad, New Delhi. The purpose is to adjudicate matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a company and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Delhi Zonal Unit, concerning a case from February 2010.
