<h1>India Appoints Common Adjudicating Authority for Customs Cases in 2010, Rescinded in 2017.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, issued Notification No. 56/2010-Customs (N.T.) on July 7, 2010, appointing the Commissioner of Customs (Exports) at IGI Airport, New Delhi, as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This authority is empowered to handle cases related to a Show Cause Notice issued to M/s. J. Minakshi International, Jaipur, and others. The Commissioner will exercise powers and duties of various customs and excise commissioners across multiple locations, including Chennai, New Delhi, and Kandla. This appointment was later rescinded by Notification No. 15/2017 on November 24, 2017.
