<h1>SEZ in Haryana shifts focus from engineering to agro and food processing under amended notification.</h1> The Central Government has amended a previous notification regarding a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) initially designated for the engineering sector by M/s. Ansal Kamdhenu Engineering SEZ Limited. The SEZ, located in Village Bhagan, Tehsil-Ganaur (Sonepat), and Village Kurar Ibrahimpur, Tehsil-Sonepat on NH-1, Haryana, will now be developed by Ansal Colours Engineering SEZ Limited. Additionally, the sector focus of the SEZ has been changed from engineering to agro and food processing products. This amendment is made under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006.
