of <h1>SEZ Area Reduced: 69 Hectares Denotified in Hazira, Gujarat, Following Compliance with SEZ Act 2005 Requirements.</h1> The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has issued a notification regarding the denotification of certain areas within the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Village Hazira, Taluka Choryasi, Gujarat. Initially, 247.5222 hectares were designated for the SEZ by M/s. Essar SEZ Hazira Limited. The Central Government has approved the denotification of 40.1538 hectares and 28.8410 hectares, reducing the total area to 178.5874 hectares. This decision follows the fulfillment of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and related rules, as confirmed by the Central Government.
