of <h1>Commerce Ministry Approves Expansion of Special Economic Zone in Raigad, Maharashtra to 52.745 Hectares.</h1> The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has approved the expansion of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Free Trade and Warehousing at Village Sai, Taluka Panvel, District Raigad, Maharashtra. Initially approved for 68 hectares, the SEZ was notified for 45.76 hectares in May 2009. M/s. Arshiya International Limited proposed to include an additional 6.985 hectares, bringing the total area to 52.745 hectares. The notification lists specific survey numbers and areas included in this expansion.
