of <h1>Government Appoints Common Adjudicating Authority for Customs Cases Involving M/s Metro Impex Across Multiple Indian Ports</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 23/2010-Customs (N.T.) appointing the Commissioner of Customs (Import and General) at IGI Airport, New Delhi, as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This appointment empowers the Commissioner to adjudicate matters related to a show cause notice issued to M/s Metro Impex, New Delhi, and others. The authority will cover cases from various customs commissioners across India, including those from Tughlakabad, Nhava Sheva, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata, as specified in the notification dated March 22, 2010.
