<h1>India Amends Customs Duty Exemptions: Import Limits for Dairy Products Revised Under Notification No. 33/2010-Customs</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 33/2010-Customs to amend Notification No. 21/2002-Customs. The amendment, effective from 12th March 2010, modifies the customs duty exemptions for certain goods. Specifically, it revises the entry for goods under heading numbers 0402 10 or 0402 21 00, allowing imports up to 30,000 metric tonnes per financial year at a nil rate. Additionally, it introduces a new entry for goods under heading 0405, including White Butter, Butter Oil, and Anhydrous Milk Fat, permitting imports up to 15,000 metric tonnes per financial year at a nil rate.
