of <h1>India Updates Customs Notification: New Exemptions for IT and Electronics Goods Under Actual User Condition</h1> The Government of India has amended Notification No. 25/2002-Customs, dated March 1, 2002, to update the list of exempt goods used by the IT and electronics industry, subject to the actual user condition. The amendments include changes to entries related to crystals, oscillators, capacitors, EMI/RFI filters, LED indicator lamps, display systems, automatic and semi-automatic assembling machines, variable resistors, quartz crystals, PCB assemblies, and various electronic testing equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. These changes aim to align with public interest under the Customs Act, 1962.
