of <h1>SEZ Notification Amended: Scope Expanded from Pharmaceuticals to Include Fine Chemicals in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.</h1> The Central Government has amended the notification S.O. 2891 (E) dated 13th November 2009, concerning a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Villages Kalayangadh and Gangad, Taluka Bavla, District Ahmedabad, Gujarat, developed by a company. The amendment, issued under the Special Economic Zone Act, 2005, changes the scope of the SEZ from 'pharmaceutical' to include 'pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals.' This modification is made in accordance with the powers granted under the SEZ Act and Rules.
