of <h1>Central Government Amends SEZ Notification; Removes FAB City SPV and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure from Development List</h1> The Central Government issued an amendment to the notification dated 12th October 2007, which appointed the Director of Software Technology Parks of India, Hyderabad, as the Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zones (SEZ). This amendment, effective from 6th January 2010, involves the removal of entries at Sl. Nos. 9 and 30 from the original notification. These entries pertain to FAB City SPV (India) Ltd. and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, both located in Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Andhra Pradesh, involved in semiconductor and electronics hardware activities.
