The amendment, issued under the Special Economic Zone Act, 2005 and the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, changes the designation from 'Development Commissioner, Kandla Special Economic Zone' to 'Development Commissioner having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone.' This adjustment clarifies the jurisdictional authority over the zone.
