of <h1>Goa Commissioner Appointed as Adjudicating Authority for Show Cause Notices in Customs Matters Across Multiple Jurisdictions</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Goa, as the common adjudicating authority. This authority will exercise powers and duties for the adjudication of matters related to Show Cause Notices issued to M/s. Grand Organics, Goa, and others. The appointment covers the jurisdictions of the Commissioners of Customs at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra; Kandla; and the Commissioner of Customs (Export) at New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai. This is in accordance with the powers conferred under the Customs Act, 1962.
