of <h1>India Amends Customs Notification: New Entry Added for Goods under S.No. 400A, Subject to Specific Conditions</h1> The Government of India has issued Notification No. 139/2009-Customs, amending Notification No. 20/2006-Customs dated March 1, 2006. This amendment, made under the powers conferred by the Customs Act, 1962, adds a new entry after S.No.65 in the notification's table. The new entry, S.No.66, pertains to goods specified against S.No. 400A of the Table annexed to Notification No. 21/2002-Customs. The exemption for these goods is subject to conditions specified under S.No. 400A of the 2002 notification. This amendment is deemed necessary in the public interest.
