of <h1>India Updates Customs Duties on Refined Sugar: Amendment to Notification No. 21/2002-Customs for S.No. 38BB Effective Until March 2010.</h1> The Government of India has amended Notification No. 21/2002-Customs, dated March 1, 2002, under the Customs Act, 1962, to update the exemption and effective rates of basic and additional duties for specified goods in Chapters 1 to 99. The amendment specifically changes the entry for S.No. 38BB in the notification table to include 'Refined or white sugar, imported up to and inclusive of March 31, 2010.' This amendment is issued in the public interest and was last modified by Notification No. 125/2009-Customs on November 11, 2009.
