The changes include an extension in the timeframe for depositing retirement benefits. Specifically, the period is extended to either three months from receiving the retirement benefits or until December 31, 1989, whichever is later. Additionally, the term 'three months' in the first proviso is replaced with 'six months.' These amendments are effective from October 1, 1989.
