of <h1>Amendment to Customs Act adds Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu for import/export operations effective October 6, 2003, under Notification 82/2003.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended Notification No. 62/94-CUSTOMS (N.T.) from November 21, 1994, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, effective from October 6, 2003, adds a new entry for the State of Tamil Nadu. Specifically, it includes Kudankulam as a location authorized for the unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. This change is documented as Notification No. 82/2003-Customs (NT). The principal notification was initially published in the Gazette of India and was last amended on March 11, 2003.
