of <h1>3-Year 9% HUDCO Debentures Eligible for Wealth Tax Benefits Under Section 5 of Wealth-tax Act, 1957</h1> In accordance with the powers granted by clause (xvie) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Wealth-tax Act, 1957, the Central Government specifies the '3-Year 9 per cent.-HUDCO Capital Gains Debenture' issued by the Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd. as eligible under the specified clause. This notification, dated February 22, 1988, under Notification Number 0196(E), identifies these debentures for wealth tax considerations.
