of <h1>Bhailal Amin Foundation Approved as Scientific Research Association for Medical Research Under Income-tax Act Section 35(1)(ii)</h1> The Bhailal Amin Foundation in Baroda, Gujarat, has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research as a 'Scientific Research Association' in the field of medical research under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval, effective from 15th March 1978 to 14th March 1980, requires the foundation to maintain separate accounts for funds received for scientific research and to submit annual returns of its research activities to the Council by 15th May each year. The notification is identified by Notification Number 3025, dated 26th May 1978.
