of <h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds Effective October 15, 2009, Notification 156/2009-CUSTOMS (N.T.)</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 156/2009-CUSTOMS (N.T.) amending Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) dated August 3, 2001. This amendment, effective from October 15, 2009, revises the tariff values for certain goods including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, and poppy seeds. The tariff values for these items remain unchanged except for brass scrap, which is set at $3328 per metric tonne, and poppy seeds at $3018 per metric tonne.
