This appointment is made under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962, to adjudicate matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a company, M/s TT Enterprises, by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Chennai. The Commissioner will assume the responsibilities and powers of the Joint Commissioner of Customs, Tuticorin, for this specific case.
