of <h1>Delhi Finance Dept. Appoints Officers for VAT Administration under 2004 Act; Effective Dates from 2007 to 2009</h1> The Finance Department of the National Capital Territory of Delhi issued a notification on October 1, 2009, appointing officers to assist in the administration of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. Under the authority of the Lt. Governor, and in accordance with the specified legal provisions, three officers have been appointed as Joint Commissioners/Deputy Commissioners of Value Added Tax. These officers are designated to assume their roles effective from their respective dates of joining: Officer 1 from January 16, 2007, Officer 2 from October 1, 2008, and Officer 3 from July 20, 2009.
