of <h1>Joint Commissioner of Customs Appointed as Adjudicating Authority for 2009 Case Involving Show Cause Notice by DRI Ludhiana.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has appointed the Joint Commissioner of Customs at the Inland Container Depot in Tughlakabad, New Delhi, as the common adjudicating authority. This appointment empowers the Joint Commissioner to exercise the powers and duties of the Joint Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Nhava Sheva, Maharashtra. The purpose is to adjudicate matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a company and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ludhiana, concerning a case from March 2009.
