This appointment, outlined in Notification No. 137/2009-Customs (N.T.), allows the Commissioner to exercise powers and discharge duties for the Commissioner of Customs at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, the Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Sahar Air Cargo Complex, and the Joint Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Indira Gandhi International Airport. The purpose is to adjudicate matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to M/s. M.K. Enterprises and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence.
