of <h1>Iron Ore Concentrate and Pellets Added as Canalised Items in EXIM Policy Amendment, Chapter 16, Part III</h1> The Central Government, under the Foreign Trade Development & Regulation Act, 1992, has amended the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, to include iron ore concentrate and pellets produced by a specific company as canalised items. These items, specifically iron ore concentrate with 40% or less iron content and iron ore pellets manufactured by a designated company, have been added to the list of canalised items in Chapter 16, Part III, Paragraph 16.3 of the EXIM Policy 1997-2002. This amendment aims to regulate the export of these products in the public interest.
