of <h1>Export Policy Amended: Herbal Formulation Exports from 17 Wild Plants Extended to March 31, 1998, Under Pre-1996 Rules.</h1> The notification, dated January 12, 1998, amends the export policy for value-added herbal formulations derived from 17 wild plant species listed in the 'ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import items 1997-2002.' These exports, initially permitted for 90 days under a previous notification, are now allowed until March 31, 1998, under the export policy effective before March 25, 1996. This extension is subject to standard conditions and CITES regulations. The amendment is issued in the public interest under the Foreign Trade Development & Regulation Act, 1992.
