of <h1>Government Frees Import of Cathode-Ray Oscilloscopes and Oscillographs under Exim Code 90302001 per Notification No. 16/1997</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, has amended the 'ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items 1997-2002.' The amendment pertains to Exim Code 90302001, which covers cathode-ray oscilloscopes and cathode-ray oscillographs up to 100 MHz. The import of these items is now allowed freely without restrictions. This change is made in the public interest and is documented in Notification No. 16/1997, dated August 29, 1997, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
