<h1>Govt Allows 90-Day Export of Herbal Formulations from 17 Plant Species Under Foreign Trade Policy</h1> The Central Government has issued a notification allowing the export of herbal formulations made from 17 specified plant species for 90 days. This decision, under the Foreign Trade Policy and the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, temporarily reverts to the export policy prior to March 25, 1996. The exemption is subject to standard conditions and compliance with CITES regulations. The notification, issued in public interest, lists plants such as Acorus Calamus, Artemesia spp, and Taxus Wallichiana among others. The directive is signed by the Director General of Foreign Trade and is effective immediately.
