of <h1>Amendment to Export Policy: Chrome Ore with Cr2O3 </h1> The notification amends the Export and Import Policy of 1997-2002 by specifying that chrome ore lumps with Cr2O3 content not exceeding 40% are to be exported through the Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation (MMTC). This amendment is made under the authority of the Foreign Trade Development and Regulation Act, 1992, and is intended to be in the public interest. The change is reflected in Chapter 16, Part III, Paragraph 16.3 of the policy, specifically under canalised items. The amendment is officially issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
