of <h1>Triple Export Weightage for KVIC/KVIB Units in Sub-Para 12.7(f) of 1997-2002 Policy; Excludes Prior Benefits</h1> The Central Government has amended the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, to grant triple weightage on Free on Board (FOB) or Net Foreign Exchange (NFE) for direct exports by manufacturing units registered with the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) or Khadi and Village Industries Boards (KVIBs). This amendment, effective from August 15, 1997, is outlined in sub-paragraph 12.7 (f) of the policy. However, these units will not be eligible for weightage benefits mentioned in preceding sub-paragraphs (a) and (b).
