of <h1>Corrections to ITC (HS) Classifications for Exim Codes 85.36 and 94060009.10 Retroactively Effective from April 1997</h1> Notification No. 04/1997, dated May 6, 1997, issued under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, announces corrections to the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items for 1997-2002. The amendment adds a sentence to the description under Exim Code 85.36, stating that goods not directly usable as consumer goods are freely importable. Additionally, the description for Exim Code 94060009.10 is revised to 'Prefabricated housing material.' These corrections are retroactively effective from April 1, 1997, and are issued in the public interest.
