of <h1>India Exempts Potassium Penicillin G & V from Customs Duties Under Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 11/86-Cus dated January 17, 1986. This notification exempts potassium penicillin G first crystals and potassium penicillin V first crystals, classified under Chapter 29 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from all applicable customs duties when imported into India. This exemption includes both the standard customs duty specified in the First Schedule and any additional duty under section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, as a measure deemed necessary in the public interest.
