<h1>New Customs Notification Updates Exchange Rates for Export Goods Effective July 1, 2003, Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> Notification No. 41/2003 - Customs (N.T.), issued on 25th June 2003, sets the exchange rates for export goods effective from 1st July 2003, under the Customs Act, 1962. It supersedes the previous notification No. 36/2003-NT-Customs dated 27th May 2003. The exchange rates for foreign currencies into Indian rupees are specified in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for one unit of various currencies like the US Dollar at 46.55 INR, and Schedule II lists rates for 100 units of currencies like the Japanese Yen at 39.50 INR.
