of <h1>India exempts refined Stockholm Tar from customs duty exceeding 60% ad valorem under Notification No. 53/86-Cus. Effective Feb 28, 1986.</h1> The Central Government of India, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 53/86-Cus. dated February 17, 1986, to exempt refined Stockholm Tar, classified under sub-heading No. 3807.00 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from a portion of the customs duty. The exemption applies to the amount exceeding a 60% ad valorem rate when imported into India. This notification will be effective from February 28, 1986.
